Kids Conference

We’re excited to welcome you and your child to the upcoming Exploring Giftedness Kids Conference 2025! Below is everything you need to know about how the day will run and what to expect. 

How the Day Works

Kids Conference runs on Saturday 27th September and operates simultaneously to the adult conference. 

Your child will be engaged in a dedicated program designed specifically for gifted learners. The children’s sessions run at the same times as the adult sessions, so you can focus on your learning while knowing your child is in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Session 1 and 3 will be planned and run by Gifted expert Sue Breen, and Session 2 includes an exciting hands-on STEM experience with Brainplay. Throughout the day, children will have access to a wide variety of group and self-directed activities, allowing them to explore their interests, work at their own pace, and engage with other gifted kids in a way that suits them best.

Meal Breaks & Supervision

The conference is fully catered, and all attendees (both adults and children) will come together for meal breaks. During these breaks, parents/caregivers are responsible for supervising their children. This is a great opportunity to reconnect, discuss what they’ve been learning, and recharge before the next session.

What to Bring

Everything your child needs for the day will be provided, but we recommend bringing a named water bottle, any comfort items they may need, and any necessary medications (please inform us if applicable).

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Children should be signed in at the Kids Hall at the start of the day and picked up at meal breaks, and at the end of the conference. Our team will be there to guide them during sessions.

Location: Hosted within the main conference facility in the Kids Hall and the Upstairs Kids Classrooms
