We invite you to be part of an exciting and enriching experience at the Exploring Giftedness Conference | Te Hui Pūmanawa 2025. Whether you’re shaping the future for gifted learners, advocating for change, or exploring your own gifted journey, this conference is designed to equip and inspire you.
This year is particularly special as we celebrate 50 years of the New Zealand Association for Gifted Children (NZAGC)—a milestone that highlights decades of advocacy, progress, and support for gifted learners and their families. In response to this significant achievement, the theme of this years Exploring Giftedness Conference is legacy. Our speakers this year will be reflecting on their own experiences to show how to empower gifted individuals, shape education, and leave a lasting impact.
This year, we celebrate not only the legacy we’ve built but also the one we are shaping for future generations. Whether you’re a teacher influencing young minds, a parent guiding your child, or a gifted adult carving your own path, this conference will provide inspiration, knowledge, and community.
We’d love for you to join us! Register now to secure your place and be part of this landmark event.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Our wonderful logo for Exploring Giftedness Conference 2025 was created by a 13 year old from Canterbury, Freya:
My name is Freya I am gifted but also have dysgraphia and probably ADHD. I love dance and hockey and I am a year 9. I also play the violin and do musical theatre and I love acting, dancing and singing in shows. It is important to me to help others understand what it is like being gifted, especially how hard it can be in school.
